Chuck Mulder and Al Ritchey have just installed a new “Hosta of the Year” exhibit.  The exhibit is found in Congdon Gardens on Hobbs Drive in Delavan.  (Behind Slumberland Furniture Store).

The new exhibit features the “Hosta of the Year” from the last 14 years.  Each year a new “Hosta of the Year” will be added.  The new exhibit is within the Fountain Garden.

The other gardens include The Gazebo Garden, The Independence Garden, The Peony Garden, which features the newest Peonies and Day Lilies and the Linden Garden.  Future plans include a Signature Garden, which will feature signage on Hwy 50 and adding additional gardens.

Congdon Gardens are open to the public free of charge.  Donations are gratefully accepted.  The Delavan Rotary Gardens Foundation board is committed to continue to improve and expand the gardens through the generous donations, memorial / recognition brick sales and events.

For more information or to donate to Congdon Gardens, contact Connie Glatz Helms, president of the Delavan Rotary Gardens Foundation at 262-215-6849.
